Salvation

What it means to be "born-again "

I AM ACCEPTED:  God's child, Christ's friend, justified, united with the LORD, one with HIM in spirit, bought with a price, belong to God, member of Christ's body, saint, adopted as God's child, direct access to GOD through JESUS CHRIST, redeemed, forgiven of sins and complete in CHRIST.

I AM SECURE:  free from condemnation, assured that things work together for good, free from condemning charges, cannot be separated from the love of God, established, anointed, sealed by GOD, hidden with CHRIST in GOD, confident that the good work GOD has begun will be perfected, citizen of Heaven, not given a spirit of fear, given power, love and a sound mind, finding grace and mercy in time of need and born of God.

I AM SIGNIFICANT:  salt, light of earth, branch of the true vine, a channel of His life, chosen, appointed to bear fruit, personal witness of CHRIST's, God's temple, minister of reconciliation, God's coworker, seated with Christ in the heavenly realm, God's workmanship, may approach God with freedom, confidence and can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me.

I AM IDENTIFIED IN HIM:  death, burial, resurrection, ascension, life, power, inheritance.

Confession for Overcomers ... My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed, and sanctified by the Blood of Jesus. My members, the parts of my body, are instruments of righteousness, yielded to God for His service and for His glory. The devil has no place in me, no power over me, no unsettled claims against me. All has been settled by the Blood of Jesus. I overcome Satan by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony, and I love not my life unto the death. My body is for the Lord and the Lord is for my body. AMEN   ( DEREK PRINCE )

1 COR 15:1-4 ... "Morover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; (2) By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain (3) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; (4) And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures"

JOHN 14:6 ... "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me".

ACTS 4:12 ... "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given, among men, whereby we must be saved"

ACTS 17:30 ... "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent"

2 PETER 3:9 ... "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"

Preached by John the Baptist - MATT 3:1-2 ... "In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of judea, And saying, Repent ye, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand"

Preached by Jesus - MATT 4:17 ... "From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, REPENT, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand"

Preached by the 12 Apostles - MARK 6:12 ... "And they went out, and preached that men should repent"

Our attitude towards sin - LUKE 18:13 ... "And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. ISAIAH 55:7 ... "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon"

Confession - 1 JOHN 1:9 ... "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"  PROVERBS 28:13 ... "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy"

What happens to you and your SINS when you REPENT ?

They are totally blotted out ... ISA 44:22

They are totally forgotten ... HEB 8:12

They are totally covered by the blood of Jesus Christ ... PSA 32:1

Person becomes totally dead to sins ... 1 PETER 2:24

They are totally washed away ... REV 1:5

Salvation is through grace alone - There is nothing you can do to get saved. You don't have to get "cleaned up" prior to being saved. You simply respond to Jesus Christ with a repentant heart, when God calls you (Jn 6:44) willing to turn from all your sins. He will come into your heart, forgive you and become "Lord of your life" when you ask Him to be your Lord

EPHESIANS 2:8-9 ... "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (9) Not of works, lest any man should boast"

JOHN 6:37 ... "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast  out"

ROMANS 10:9-10 ... "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God  hath raised him from the dead, thoushalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"

1 PETER 1:5,9 ... "Who are kept by the power of God through FAITH unto SALVATION ready to be revealed in the last time. (9) Receiving the end of your FAITH, even the SALVATION of your souls"

2 THESS 2:13 ... "But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you salvation through sanctification of the SPIRIT and belief of the truth"

The personal one-on-one relationship with Jesus Christ as sovereign God has to be the central concern of all believers. It is not about a church, group, good works or anything else in the physical. It is about a spiritual "heart- relationship" with Jesus and His love for you and all people.

Each person must answer these simple questions

Is Jesus Christ LORD ?   Is Jesus Christ LORD of my life ?   Will I totally submit to Jesus ?

JOHN 3:16-18 ... For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life (17) For sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God
