Rock-n-Roll Music Spirits … Paul Nowlen

Father in Heaven, I come to you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and my Savior, humbling myself before your throne of grace and mercy, confessing that I let many evil spirits into my body and soul through rock music, while listening to evil lyrics, singing along with singers –playing in rock groups – activities associated with “rock” music. And other styles such as Country, R&B, Soul, etc.

I was deceived by the spirits of pride, fame, fortune, grandeur, applause, recognition, sex, glamour, alcohol and drug use, and all other spirits that make up the “rock music family”. I admit to wasting precious time and effort in the wrong kinds of music, even placing my life in danger in the places I went to that were evil and sinful. I repent of using my God-given talents and abilities for the wrong reasons, bringing shame on Jesus Christ and allowing myself to be used of Satan, not glorifying God but giving place to sin.

Please forgive my sins and release me from the curses that I brought on myself, including my family and friends. I forgive those who “used” me for their own gain and profit and ask You to forgive them also. I forgive myself and free myself now in the name of Jesus Christ, giving all honor, glory and praise to You, Father God. AMEN
