Cleansing Your Home

 

The human body is the “temple of the Holy Spirit”. Your home is the dwelling place of the human body and therefore you should keep it clean. Cleansing and praying through your home is for the purpose of setting it apart – or consecrating it – for the Lord. Doing this may well reveal some areas of darkness that need to be dealt with.

 

1-     ongoing illness

2-     continual bad dreams and/or nightmares

3-     insomnia

4-     behavioral problems

5-     relational problems, continual fighting and arguing

6-     no peace in the home

7-     restless, disturbed children

8-     unexplained illnesses or bondages

9-     “ghosts” or demonic apparitions

                                      10- Poltergeists ( objects move by demon power )

11- Foul, unexplainable odors

12- Continual nausea and headaches

13- Heavy atmosphere causing heavy breathing or hard to breathe

 

Do not fear these things. Jesus Christ has given you absolute authority over any “spirits of darkness”

 

Personal examples, in our home, of “contact objects” that had to be removed

 

1-     Irish jewelry ( with occultic designs, etc )

2-    Brick made by slaves from family plantation located in Georgia

3-    Candy dish

4-    Stuffed frog, wind chimes ( Eastern mysticism )

5-    Clothes with occultic symbols on them

6-    Some photos of long-dead relatives

7-    Some Chinese games

 

WARNING: Some objects can represent iniquitous patterns, or generational curses, and may even be a hiding place for “familiar spirits”. Be aware of any weakness in your family that draws you to things linked with the Occult. Always ask the LORD to show you if there are any generational curses that run in your family and any objects you own that might be linked with those iniquities.

 

 

Things You Can Do … Pray and Ask the Lord for His Directions

 

1-     anoint ( with olive oil ) all doors, windows and openings

2-     Pray over each room ( ask the Lord for instructions about each room )

3-     Anoint your PC, telephone, TV, radios…all communication devices

4-     When leaving your home play good Christian music or Bible tapes

5-     Mention to the Lord that you are a good steward over His property

6-     Trust the Lord to fully protect your home and all property while you are away

       Other Considerations about Personal Property and Guests

 

1-     Rings ( inordinate attachment to other people, bondages, wrong “soul-ties” )

2-     Necklaces ( can represent bondage or a spiritual yoke )

3-     Earrings ( if pierced this represents slavery or servitude ), Can bring illnesses

4-     Bracelets ( can represent bondage like shackles on your wrists )

5-     So called “Christian Jewelry” ( crucifixes, some crosses, some fish symbols, doves, charms and fetishes )

6-     Paintings such as the “other Jesus”, Crucifixion ( violate 2nd commandment )

7-     Stuffed animals, owls, frogs, witches’ masks, Occult Literature, Cult Information

8-     Yoga, Lamaze, TM, “breath prayers”, contemplative prayers, hypnosis, visualization

9-     Some heirlooms and antiques can cause demonic activity

10-Dream Catcher hanging over a child’s bed – a very dangerous situation to allow

11-Previous house or land owners – did they curse the property in any way?

12-TV programs and movies … demons can come in through these mediums

13-Some religious TV or Radio programs that teach false doctrines or deny any part of the Word of God

                   14-Some people that visit your home may bring demons in with them. Pray about anointing your home after they leave.
