ABORTION ISSUES
Abortion and the race towards judgment ... John O. Anderson. The Bible warns of God's Judgment on societies that allow destruction of innocent life. Any nation spurning that warning does so at its own peril. Authors John Anderson and Doug Brendel draw parallels between Israel in Hosea's time and America today, between child sacrifice in the Old Testament and abortion in the United States.
God hears the cry of the innocents, and He will not wait much longer before answering and judging the nations responsible for their deaths.

"Roar in Sodom" ... John O Anderson
VALLEY FORGE, PA...winter of 1777 winter quarters of the Continental Army of the United States and General George Washington in command. A chapter of long and dark suffering for the men serving. Almost a third of the 11,000 - some 3000- died; they lie buried at Valley Forge. The wonder is that they stayed. It would have been easy to melt away into the woods, go AWOL, and go back home. But they endured the suffering and were faithful to their call. Afterwards America was born. Were we worth it? Were we? Were we worth their sacrifice? We could fast forward to our bloody Civil War, or on to World War 1, or to Word War 11 - or to other wars, before or since, where Americans have fought - and died. And we could ask the same question: Were we worth it?
Anderson's ROAR in SODOM addresses our greatest national sin - ABORTION. Excerpts from the book pages 97-99 should cause the born-again believer and even non-believers to pause and give serious thought to the bloodshed of millions of "innocents" in the United States since Rowe v. Wade. PLEASE read Anderson's comments on the section entitled:
"What if we could interview men at Valley Forge"
But what if we could actually return to that bitterly cold December day in 1777 as those ill-dressed men marched past George Washington at Vallley Forge. And suppose we could talk to them, and tell them a bit of what it is like now, some two-and-a-quarter centuries later, about our lifestyles - our homes, our automobiles, computers, prosperity, airplanes, entertainment, TV's, movies, music, politics, etc. No doubt it would amaze them.
However, what if they asked us about our values? What if they asked about what we believed in now? Whether the idea of freedom was still in our hearts? What would we say? What is someone in our conversation with them we said the following: "You know, your sacrifices, suffering, and even death, there in Valley Forge - and throughout that Revolutionary War - provided us with a most wonderful freedom. It gave us the special freedom to KILL OUR UNBORN!"
How do you think they would react?
They might say, "What do you mean, "kill your unborn!" Do you mean, a baby, i nthe womb, before it is born - to kill it then?" YES, this freedom to choose this has become very important to women." "You mean a mother in your day would do that, kill her unborn baby? And that it is important to her to be able to do if she wishes?"
We might try to explain, "You see, two-and-a-quarter centuries from now, women will believe that the freedom you sacrificed for, gives them the right to decide to kill their unborn."
"What aboaut the fathers? What do they think?" As far as the fathers are concerned, the freedom for the mothers means that the fathers can't say anything." "But, the fathers don't have any freedom."
"Yes, but the baby, I mean fetus, is in a mother's body. It's her body, so the freedom is only for her."
Before they could respond, perhaps we went on, "But another freedom you sacrificed to give us, is to make it possible for children to be adopted by two men or two women who are living together, who are a couple." "You mean, 'living together' and 'are a couple,' like husband wife?" "Precisely." "Do people do that in your day, openly that is?" "People believe they should have that right." " And you put children with them?"
"Of course. It's part of the wonderful FREEDOM you've given us; which by the way, has also made it possible for us to teach our children in school about the freedoms I've mentioned, like a mother being able to decide to kill her unborn, and people of the same sex living together and adopting children!"
"You mean, you teach children about those kinds of things?" "Yes, in school and other places."
"Doesn't anyone in your day think these things are wrong?"
"Oh, some people object, religious people and some others. But most people either think these things are all right, or don't care"
Think on these things the next time you hear statements about women's rights for their bodies and the unborn ....

Scriptures and teachings relating to Abortion
Life begins at conception in the womb ...
PSALMS 139:13-16 KJV ... "For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my sould knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them."
Laws of Moses protected the unborn child ...
EXODUS 21:22-25 KJV ... "If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe."
God's judgment will come on anyone who harms unborn babies ...
AMOS 1:13-15 KJV ... "Thus saith the LORD; for three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border: But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces, thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind; And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD."
Life begins in the womb ... not at birth ...
ISAIAH 44:2 KJV ... " Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen."
LUKE 1:31-45 KJV ... "And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost; And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of they womb. And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord."
God's plan for our life begins before we are born ...
GALATIANS 1:15 KJV ... "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by His grace."
JEREMIAH 1:5 KJV ... "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."

SHEDDING INNOCENT BLOOD
JOHN 10:10 ... "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to KILL, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Human life is not an achievement. It is an endowment. It has measureless value, because every individual, at every stage of development and every state of consciousness, is known and loved by GOD. This is the source of human dignity and the basis for human equality. It must therefore be asserted without exception or qualification: No one is worthless whom GOD has created and for whom Jesus Christ died.
The shedding of "innocent blood" has 5 common roots: LUST ... because it is often the context for irresponsible conception. THE LOVE OF COMFORT ... because the decision to abort is often made simply to avoid the discomfort or pregnancy. LOVE OF MONEY ... because of a desire to avoid financial sacrifice. REJECTION ... because in her "fear of rejection" by society or boyfriend, a woman's solution is to reject the child in her womb. UNBELIEF ... because we discount the existence of a just God who will surely honor a difficult but righteous decision. The voice of unbelief concludes...IF I have this baby it will ruin my whole life.
Here are some "reasons" for aborting a child
ABORTION is MURDER...we have no right to take a child's life, our life or anyone else's life. We are created by God for His purpose... not our own purposes. Abortion will probably cause God to allow the United States to be destroyed by its enemies.
Women who have had an abortion bring a curse of death upon themselves because they committed murder or encouraged it. Taking "innocent blood" is the same as murder. Study Cain and Abel in GENESIS 4:1-15. Taking life gives Satan the right to attack the person. This is a major reason that many women and men are murdered, killed or maimed.
After effects of abortion increases sterility, miscarriages, psychiatric aftermath, Rh troubles, tubal pregnancies rise, premature babies, possible perforation of the uterus, blood clots to the lungs, infections and fatal hepatitis from blood transfusions( facts from LIFE or DEATH, Hayes Publishing Company, Cincinnati, OH )
GENESIS 9:6 ... "Whosoever sheds men's blood, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God He made man."
Innocent children were sacrificed to the pagan god MOLOCH. Today children are sacrificed through the act of Abortion. Try to imagine ... if you can ... what terror a baby goes through when it is murdered in the womb of its mother. It can be nothing else but murder. How far we have gone, now in the 21st century, when a mother picks to murder that baby who is totally unable to do anything to defend itself.
Judgment is surely coming on the United States... where over 1 million "innocents" are murdered every year. Their blood cries out from our soil. Even if you give consent to abortion you are guilty.
Heaven is filled with uncountable children who have been sacrificed and aborted throughout history. We appeal to those men and women, whatever your involvment with an abortion, to REPENT and have the curses of Murder broken off you life and those who come after you, from generational curses.
Comments from Frank B. Hammond ... "God will no longer ignore this carnage. There is ample warning in the Word of God that He will avenge the bloodshed of murder" GENESIS 9:6-7 God's command is two-edged: first - life must not be destroyed through bloodshed, and second, life must be propagated through childbearing. This passage reads as though God had abortion-murder specifically in mind when He said it.
Murder has replaced childbearing ... "We have despised God's BLESSING and called it a CURSE, for the widespread acceptance of abortion shows that children are no longer considered "the heritage of the Lord" nor the "fruit of the womb His reward"( PSALMS 127:3 ). One of the specific causes for a curse from God is murder of the innocent. Who is more innocent than a baby yet in the mother's womb? Who is more guilty of murder for hire than the doctors and their staffs who receive pay for "MURDER by ABORTION?" The nation that permits such bloodshed is guilty before God."
Abortion is BLOOD SACRIFICE, but not unto God! It is an offering to demons and a sacrifice to the gods of sensual pleasure. The sexual act which conceived most of the now-aborted children were performed out of the LUST OF THE FLESH, rather than out of a LOVE FOR LIFE and a LOVE FOR GOD'S COMMANDMENTS. SAMPLE PRAYER for release from the act of ABORTION
Father God, I come to you now asking you to forgive me for taking an innocent life and shedding innocent blood. I realize now that what I did was wrong, and I humbly ask you, as your child, to release me from any guilt connected with the abortion. I also ask you to forgive _________________________ ( fill in the names of all involved ) that were also involved with the murder of my child. I take authority in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and break any and all curses and remove myself from any and all curses brought on me by my committing the sin of abortion which is murder. I ask you to have your holy angels gather up the fragmented pieces of my soul and restore me to wholeness that you intend for me. Thank you for deliverance and freedom through the Deliverer, who is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. AMEN.
